HOW TO PREPARE MATÉ CAKE?
What you will need
To prepare your mate cake , you will need:
- Utensils/Accessories
- Pan
- Bowl
- Whip
- Balance
- Cake mold
- Oven
- Food for 6 people
- 3 tablespoons of yerba mate
- 180g flour
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 120g butter
- 130g of sugar
- 10cl of milk

The mate cake recipe in 8 steps:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Heat the milk until simmering, then add the yerba mate off the heat to let it infuse for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, beat the eggs with the sugar until the mixture turns white.
- Add the flour and yeast to the previous preparation and mix.
- Melt the butter, then add it to the mixture.
- Finally, add the Yerba mate infused milk (filtered).
- Pour the mixture into a previously buttered and floured cake mold, and bake for around 40 minutes.
- Serve warm or cold!
Optional: When serving, sprinkle with icing sugar for a tastier and more pleasant appearance.
